Niya is a very special girl and I would like to thank Lauren Somers, Nahrof Border Collies, Melissa Dean, Benshiva Border Collies, and Sari Solanti, Pikkupaimenen Border Collies (Finland), for entrusting her to me.
She is an absolute delight to own, if not a bit wicked at times, and adjusts to ever situation she is placed in. Her show career started off with a bang taking out Baby in Group at her debut show. SInce then she has continued her success, now being a Multi Class in Group winner along with Challenge and Reserve Challenges to her name. Unfortunately she doesn't enjoy the showring, and shows her distain by moving around the ring like a snail. We plan to get her back out in the ring soon to finish off those last few points of her title!
Herding has proved to be one of Niya's strengths completing her Herding Instinct Certificate easily in 2007. Thanks have to go to Kristen Hughes for her help in training and handling her in the herding arena. We are looking forward to her entering the trialing arena in the near future.
